An Interesting Show
April 22, 2009 // by: Jason // 0 CommentsI just got an email reminder about SOC Radio with the title of "The Ultimate Strategy for Failing Your Way to Success!". Now if that doesn't get you excited I don't know what will. Anyone in the SOC business knows that success and failure are all part of the same package. If you've experienced any level of success, then you have no doubt had some form of failure along the way.
Regardless, the title of this show has me intrigued to say the least.
Scared Of Success
April 13, 2009 // by: Jason // 0 CommentsI had a meeting the other day, and I think I received the strangest comment I have ever heard before in my life. The person asked me whether or not now was a good time to get started because they were afraid they couldn't keep up with all the potential business. Really? I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing, but once I got over the shock I asked them to explain themselves and the question became more clear.
In a way the question was a good question, and very flatering for SOC, just worded a bit oddly. Here is actually what they were asking. Once they sign up for the business, how are they going to answer all the questions that come their way? The prospect of starting this business is exciting and scary all at the same time. They were afraid they couldn't help anyone else be successful if they didn't know the first thing about being successful. All of these were very valid points, and here's how I addressed that.

So enjoy today and be thankful forever everything we have been given. Also remember that signing up your next distributor should be the farthest thing from your mind. Today is for family, tomorrow can be for getting those you see today all signed up for SOC.
But before you hurry off to all the festivities, keep one thing in mind before you leave.
