By now most of you should have received a very inspirational note from Jordan Adler. Not only is Jordan one of the highest earners in SendOutCards, he's someone that never stops working his business. Meaning each and every day he's in the thick of things when in fact he probably doesn't need to. To be honest, most of us wouldn't keep pressing on with this if we'd had the success that Jordan has had.
But the success that Mr. Adler has had isn't todays topic, it's more about the last statement he made during that email. I have done 850 Gift Account Walk-Throughs and personally signed up 170 people on the Entrepreneur Package (about 1 in 5). My organization has 37,448 Distributors. My total group volume (customers and distributors is just over $1 million per month and $835,000 of it is coming from from 4 of the 170 that I sponsored. That means that the other 166 people make up just over $170,000 of the $1,000,000+ in card volume. 5 of the 170 are Executives. About 1/2 of them have never sponsored a single distributor but just send cards periodically.
Looking at those stats, and reading "The Promise", it drives home the point that nothing comes easy. I can assure you that Jordan didn't start making a ton of money overnight, nor did he get 37,000 + distributors in his organization in a matter of a year. No he stuck with it and ran through his numbers. In fact I've heard it's taken him 3 or 4 years to get to this point.
There are two real messages here to take away from this experience.
There have been many times when I have wanted to give up and blame the business or the product for me not succeeding. However it's never the product and it's rarely the business, it always ended up being me. So now I follow the formula. Send a card a day and follow up. Do I convert everyone I send a card to? NO! Do I completely give up when I hear no? NO! Do I file that response away and send them another card in a few months? YES! Remember it's all a numbers game, and to be successful you need to run your numbers, it's as simple as that.
Remember we can help each other by talking about our successes and failures. Share both with our group and include your downline. We are in a industry of teaching and we must teach our members to be teachers.
