Birds of a Feather

I thought I might share with you one more instance of a prompting that I acted upon that brought some very pleasing results. By now, unless you've been living under a rock, you've either heard of Facebook, or you use it. A friend of mine whom I grew up with in another state uploaded some pictures of us when we were in middle school. The pictures were hilarious and we enjoyed some laughs over them for a few days.

Naturally my mind turned to finding some pictures that I have, and put one of them on a card.

Lucky for me, my mom took plenty of pictures of me while I was younger and must have really enjoyed taking pictures of me and my friends at just about every thing we did. Good Job Mom! I was able to find a great picture of my friend and I at summer camp, which to this day we still remember and talk about. I felt great sending the card because it was not only fun, but it brought a huge smile to my face remembering that summer.

The reaction I got was the best part. My friend not only wrote me upon receiving the card, but asked me how I made the card. Wow, I sent a card just to be funny, and now I've got someone asking me to show them how I did it. You know what I did after that right? That's right, I scheduled a Gift Account Walk Through for Monday.

So if your using any of those social networking tools like Facebook, look at your friends list and think about whom you might want to send a card too. Who knows they may just become your best card sender.
