Talk to eBay sellers

Posted: March 10, 2009 by: Jason

Just about everyone in the world has bought something on eBay. A lot of those purchases have come from eBay stores, which is where someone can hang out their virtual shingle and open up shop. One of the keys to any successful business is customer retention. One way to keep customers coming back is to make sure they realize how important their purchase from you meant. Well, we have a solution for that now don't we.

eBay will tell you, and so will other online merchants that a thank you note in the mail has proven to get customers coming back again and again. An online business is no different than a traditional brick and mortar business. There isn't a sole out there that doesn't want to be thanked for using your services.

Remember that when someone makes a purchase on eBay, that it's likely that they will show off their purchase to friends and family. Wouldn't it be great if there was a thank you card that they could refer to when someone asks "Where did you get that". For less than $2 you can brand your card as well so that the eBay store location is part of the card. That's a powerful advertisement that most of your competition won't be taking advantage of.

Think about it, doesn't it make business sense to use eBay to it's full potential.
